Police are investigating after a spectator was struck by a van during the SheUltra marathon race on the Llŷn Peninsula.
The collision involving a white van and a female pedestrian occurred on the B4113 at Mynytho, near Abersoch, at around 3pm last Saturday afternoon (11th April).
The driver initially stopped but then left the scene.
Over 2,500 women took part in the 50km ultra marathon event - the largest all-female event of its kind in the world.
PC Kelly Mitchell from North Wales Police said: "We are appealing to the driver to make contact with us, as well as anyone else who witnessed the incident."
"Additionally, we are appealing to anyone with footage of the incident or the vehicle involved to get in touch."
