A council-run solar housing scheme on Anglesey has been honoured with a top national award.
Solar PV systems and battery storage technology has been designed and installed in Anglesey Counci's housing stock as part of efforts towards improving energy efficency, cutting carbon emissions and residents' energy bills.
The initiative, delivered by local contractors Anglesey Solar & Electrical Ltd, secured the Regional Council or Local Authority Body of the Year prize at the Wales Energy Efficiency Awards.
Ned Michael, head of housing services at Anglesey Council, said: "We are extremely proud to receive this award, which recognises the hard work and commitment of our staff and partners in delivering meaningful improvements for our residents and communities."
"The project is helping to improve the energy efficiency of our housing stock, reduce carbon emissions and support tenants through lower energy usage and costs. It also demonstrates how local partnerships can successfully deliver innovative and sustainable solutions for Anglesey."
The council says tackling climate change is a key objective within its plan as it look towards becoming net zero by 2030.
Cllr Carwyn Jones, who holds the housing portfolio, said: "Providing high quality, affordable and accessible homes is a key priority for the Council, and improving the energy efficiency of our housing stock plays an important part in achieving that goal."
