A 58 year-old man killed in a two-vehicle crash on the outskirts of Bala has been named.
Chris Johnson from Rhyl died when his black BMW car collided with black Mitsubishi pick-up on the A494 near Llanuwchllyn on Thursday 15th October.
The driver of the Mitsubishi was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Paying tribute, Mr Johnson's family described him as "an amazing, funny, caring family man who will be deeply missed by all."
In a statement via police, they said: “Chris loved nothing more than to be out with his friends on his motorbike travelling the beautiful roads of North Wales, or spending time in the gym."
"He was always committed to supporting anyone including his family, friends and colleagues in their times of need."
"Chris was a husband, father, son, grandad, brother, uncle and cousin and the centre of our family. He could make you smile even at the most difficult times and saw the positives in so many things."
"Words cannot express the impact he had on so many. The family have requested privacy at this time to enable them to grieve the loss of Chris."
Police are still investigating the crash, which occurred at around 7.35pm on Thursday 15th October and left the road closed for several hours.
