Tributes have been paid to a motorcyclist killed in a two-vehicle crash in Mynytho, near Pwllheli.
Roger Hawcroft was riding a black Yamaha motorbike when it collided with a red Volkswagen Polo car on the B4113 last Saturday afternoon.
The 67 year-old, who lived in Botwnnog, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Mr Hawcroft's family said he "died doing what he loved, in the place he loved, with the sun on his face and the sea by his side".
In a statement via police, he said: “As devastatingly sad as we are, he wouldn’t have wanted it to be any different and neither would we."
"We know how many people were there to help him on the day, both professional and not, and we want you to not only know how thankful we are, but that we are peaceful, and we wish nothing but the same for every single other person that was involved."
“Our wonderful mum is praying for you and always will be.”
Police are still appealing for witnesses to the crash, which occurred at around 3pm and led to the road being closed for several hours.
Anyone who was in the area or may have dashcam footage should contact North Wales Police on 101 or via the live web chat, quoting reference no. 26000326787.
