Hawk T2 jets have resumed flying following last month's crash near RAF Valley.
Two pilots escaped with minor injuries after a training flight plummeted to the ground in Pencarnisiog shortly after take off on 23rd September.
Both Hawk T1 and T2 fighter jets were temporarily grounded as a result, but T2 jets resumed their operations from Valley on Thursday afternoon following a review of the evidence and with appropriate safety measures in place.
An RAF Valley spokesperson said: "Hawk T2 flying will resume from RAF Valley this afternoon following a thorough review of the information currently available and appropriate safety assurance activity.
"The decision has been taken at the highest level after extensive scrutiny that the necessary safety controls and assurance measures are in place to support a measured and controlled return to flying."
They added: "The safety of aircrew, personnel and local communities remains paramount and the investigation into last month's incident will continue alongside normal flying and safety assurance processes."
